The "Paradiso" jacket is a kimono-cut outerwear.
The cut has been studied for a long time, starting from Elena Gradara's private collection of haori, in order to study a size that can adapt to different sizes and genders.
Unique piece reproducible to order.
The fabric is a wool and silk satin, deriving from recovered vintage deadstock, with a structured look and a crisp hand.
For the colour, a "marble effect" was created using natural dye with indigo discharge, on which a botanical print with Ailanthus leaves was made.
Any chromatic gradations of the color are to be attributed to the artisanal and natural manufacturing of the production process and are synonymous with the uniqueness of the product.
The model in the photo is 1.76 tall and wears a size S.
Washing and Care: Hand wash or machine wash in cold water with natural pH neutral detergents. Do not bleach. Avoid drying in direct sunlight.
Vagamente Retro is a personal research project that aims to reconnect sustainability to the textile and dyeing tradition.
